These Terms of Service govern your use of HuntBoard — the job application tracker built and operated by BPS Enterprises LLC. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to these terms. We've written them plainly so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.

1. Account eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use HuntBoard. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.
HuntBoard is a professional tool designed for people actively managing a job search. If you're signing up on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@huntboard.co.
2. Acceptable use
Use HuntBoard to manage your own job search. Don't use it to harm others or the service.
You may not:
- Use HuntBoard to scrape, harvest, or collect data from job boards or other sites in ways that violate those sites' terms
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from HuntBoard
- Use automated tools to interact with HuntBoard's API beyond your own account activity
- Resell, sublicense, or commercialize HuntBoard's functionality without our written permission
- Upload content that is illegal, harassing, or infringes third-party rights
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Interfere with the availability of HuntBoard for other users (e.g., denial-of-service attacks)
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules. We'll try to give you notice and a chance to resolve the issue first, except in cases of severe or repeated abuse.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Free tier
HuntBoard has a free tier with no time limit. Free accounts can track applications manually and access core features. Some features — including email auto-tracking and advanced analytics — are Pro only.
Pro plan
Pro is $9/month, billed monthly. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card is charged at the start of each billing cycle.
Cancel anytime
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Pro access until then. We don't charge you again after you cancel.
We don't offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period. If you cancel mid-month, your Pro access continues until the period ends and you won't be charged again.
Price changes
If we change the price of Pro, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price takes effect on your account.
Trials and promotions
If we offer a free trial or promotional period, the specific terms will be stated at the time of the offer and take precedence over this section for their duration.
4. Your data
You own your data. Everything you put into HuntBoard — your applications, notes, contacts, documents, interview records — belongs to you.
We don't claim any intellectual property rights over your data, and we don't use it to train AI models or sell it to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture on how we handle your data.
You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes everything we hold — there's no recovery after that point.
5. Email access consent (Pro)
Pro users can optionally connect an email account (Gmail or iCloud) to let HuntBoard auto-detect application status changes. Connecting your email is completely voluntary.
By connecting your email you consent to HuntBoard:
- Reading incoming messages to identify job-related emails
- Sending structured data (subject and body snippets) to the Anthropic Claude API for classification
- Sending a weekly digest email from your HuntBoard account (if you enable it)
We access only what's necessary. We don't read emails unrelated to job applications, and we don't store full email content. You can disconnect your email at any time from Settings, which immediately revokes our access.
6. Browser extension
The HuntBoard browser extension lets you save job postings with one click. It only activates when you click the extension button — it does not run in the background, does not monitor your browsing, and does not send data from pages you didn't explicitly trigger.
The extension is subject to the terms of the browser's extension marketplace (Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, etc.) in addition to these terms.
7. Availability — no SLA guarantee
We work hard to keep HuntBoard fast and available, but we're a small indie product and we can't promise a specific uptime percentage. We don't offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
We may perform maintenance, push updates, or take the service offline temporarily. When we can, we'll give advance notice — but sometimes we can't. If a prolonged outage affects your account, reach out and we'll do what we can.
8. Limitation of liability
HuntBoard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BPS Enterprises LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost data, lost job opportunities, or loss of revenue — arising from your use of or inability to use HuntBoard.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of HuntBoard will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $10 USD.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
9. Termination
You can close your account at any time from Settings. We'll permanently delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraud, or if we're required to by law. In non-emergency situations we'll try to give you notice first.
If we shut down HuntBoard entirely, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data before the service goes offline.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email (if you have an account) and update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use HuntBoard after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Minor clarifications or corrections may be made without notice.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Connecticut.
